Whatever you decide to do, remember
in Cape Verde the Rule is:

No Stress

Beach Club
Having lunch at the Morabeza Beach Club (below) is a joy in itself. The fairly laid back staff won't necessarily give you the swiftest service but you can take the chance to relax over a great lunch of pan seared Tuna and the young ones can enjoy a nice ice cream for desert. All the while you'll be looking out at one of the most relaxing beach scenes around.
Kite Surf
However, the Cape Vere Islands has become one of the most popular wind and kite surfing destinations in the world, due to the wind, weather and Ocean, so if you've ever wanted to learn here's your chance. A short walk along the beach in either direction and you can visit 2 Wind and Kite Surf Centres where you can take lessons or just watch the learners and experts enjoy the sport.
Wind Surfer
Santa Maria Beach

A trip to the Cape Verde Islands can be exactly what you want it to be, especially if you want some laid back time.

You can choose to take the opportunity to spend some time on the beach, where you'll always find a spot with room to spare, or catch up on your reading with the latest blockbuster or journal.

Porto Antigo is right on the beach so you can take a relaxing swimming in the pool or even the ocean and the sand is so soft that any child will be in heaven.

Many people also want to experience Cape Verdian life and take trips to Espargos and Palmeira (a taxi only costs 10 euros), but one of the most popular ways to see the islands is on a 4 x 4 off road buggy, in a dusty and exciting ride over the sand dunes and lava fields of Sal.

So What About The Non-Athlete?
