February is a perfect time to assess your form in all 3 disciplines, using extensive video analysis, and suggest changes to improve your speed and minimise your chance of injury. So we'll look at all 3 disciplines (plus your transitions) and with data from time trials we conduct on the camp, set achievable targets for your key races in 2014. Then, in the remaining time before your season starts you'll be able to focus on the goals set and will practice with these targets in mind, which should maximise your potential in 2013.

We have experience coaching all ages, from 8 to 80 and all levels from complete novices to those competing at National and World Championships. We consequently build appropriate programme's for all ages and abilities.

Porto Antigo 2
We use slow motion and underwater video at all our camps.

What They Said - Friday 19th Feb 2010;

Many, many thanks for a quite unbelievable week....an outstanding venue (quite beautiful, friendly and warm ++); magnificent coaching (attentive, detailed, focussed + challenging), and thoughtful guidance (around the island, restaurants & community). We have all really enjoyed every moment. Thanks also to Shelley & Lauren for their patience & company.

Swim - Cycle and Run Faster in 2014

Our specialisation is in filming and analysis, with both underwater and slow motion video. Spending time with you, is all part of the camp experience that willgive you valuable action-points to take away with you.

Running

On the beach, on a track by the sea or over rough terrain, Sal has it all. Plus we will be taking video and completing analysis on your run technique, There will also be technical sessions, where we give you practices to maintain your good running style, lessen the chance of injury and improve your run splits.

Choice of Porto Antigo 1 & 2 in February We're now offering apartments in both Porto Antigo 1 and Porto Antigo 2. Take a look at the Blog the accommodation page for a quick tour of each

Temperatures Guaranteed

All year round the island of Sal has an almost perfect climate for training. Temperatures should be between 22 and 28 degrees and the Ocean temperature shouldn't dip below 21 degrees.

Swimming

Apart from open water swimming we also carry out all video analysis in the pool, both from below the waterline and above.

Water temperatures of 21+ means you can either use a wetsuit or not and Santa maria has great open water swimming, with small boats to use as rounding buoys.

Cycling

In Sal there is generally a wind blowing from north to south, the same direction of the main highway. This gives an into and out of the wind ride that's perfect for toughening up or getting your drafting skills sorted before the season. All distances can be covered with rides from 10k to 100k being both challenging and rewarding, dependent on your goal and your age.
